I know that the hardest habit for me to do is to know when to step back and take a break. When I get involved in a project I want to keep working on it until I am finished with it. The problem is that I can become frustrated and then end up making more mistakes until I through up my hands in frustration. I am trying to get better at learning to stop take a breath and then return to the project at hand. I am also learning that at times it is difficult to finish the project all in one sitting. Find a good stoppping point and return to it later is the best way to go.
The easiest habit for me is to get involved by taking the initiative. Unfortunately, at times, I take the initiative when I should have waited. I need to work on my timing of learning when to take the initiative and start a project and when to wait until I have all the details.

Thing #1
I am an elementary librarian at Valley View ISD. I anticipate that I will learn more about the available technology, such as podcasts, blogs and other technology available to use with students of the 21st Century.
I am looking forward to these activities to learn more about how to use technology in the library with my staff and students. I am concerned that I bit off more than I can chew, but I am hoping that since I have other colleagues working through the same assignments that they will be able to help me if I have any questions.
I believe that I am organized and enjoy working on projects that are a challenging to me, and learn something at the same time.
